Hungarian Choir sings second time in Prasanthi Nilayam
February 20, 2009
God's delays are not God's denials. To perceive this greater notion in its essence one need to take his/her senses beyond the mundane trajectory to believe what The Bible professed "blessed are those who believe without seeing". John 20:29 says, "Because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are those who have not seen, and yet have believed." The Hungarian choir that has been coming over to Prasanthi Nilayam with annual specials for the last couple of years seemed to be having the right blend to conform the above aphorism. For, they came with belief before seeing, they experienced and rose following His path. After a fulfilling session with the Divine, a Choir in His Divine Presence on the 16th evening, came an appreciation in recognition in the form of a repeat performance on the 20th evening by the command of Bhagawan, a double bonanza for what they missed out during their previous trip to Prasanthi Nilayam.
Their journey unto His heart was not all bed of roses, as there faith had been thoroughly tested. Ms. Szilvia Szawaz, the national coordinator narrates how Bhagawan had tested the entire troupe during their previous trip to Prasanthi in 2008-2009. "Swami continues to test and teach us in many ways. On this (Dec 2007) pilgrimage we came with an extensive programme of singing to Him. We practised a lot but for some reason He knows best, we never got an opportunity to perform before Him". And finally, surrendering to His Mighty Will, the troupe had their performance done in the first floor of North Indian Canteen.
On the 20th evening, Bhagawan, as if wooed by the Hungarin devotion took a detour to come and occupy the dais. They had an array of new songs for the evening after which they continued with some melodious bhajans, singing in devotional fervour. When Bhagawan nodded further to continue, they repeated some of the numbers from their previous performance on the 16th evening, filling and fulfilling the entire Sai Kulwant Hall with devotional ecstasy for almost an hour.
A double bonanza for what they have meted out the previous year, proving that God's delays are not God's denials. Bhagawan blessed the entire troupe with a coveted photo session. Materialising a chain and giving it to the national coordinator Bhagawan advised her to keep it in the altar for worship. Another beautiful medallion, a rare one of its kind, having embossed figures of Shirdi Sai Baba and Sathya Sai Baba on opposing sides was created and given to another member in the group.
Sylvia, the national coordinator was blissful explaining the new challenge that was given by Bhagawan. She said, "New songs, new set of people, and just three days of practice. Bhagawan was happy". Apart from the Choir members, other group members who accompanied the troupe were also given an opportunity and they all sang in chorus hailing the Greater Heaven, a unique attempt in the Divine Presence of God walking on earth.
A soul stirring and fulfilling trip from Hungary, unto the Abode of Highest Peace by a group of privileged souls! All to dance to the tunes of the Divine filling and fulfilling each heart and soul with dues from greater heaven!
