Imagine a group of men and women coming to Prasanthi Nilayam singing the glory of God, virtually picking up with the Arjuna’s song of surrender to Krishna, Twam Adideva. Prasanthi Nilayam witnessed the devotional taste of the Hungarian Choir, when the 140 odd group comprising men and women with musical touch and taste from the Eastern European country Hungary, was blessed with an opportunity to sing their heart out in the immediate Divine Presence of Bhagawan, on the 16th Feb, 2009 in Sai Kulwant Hall.
Starting with Tvam Adideva, they had a collection having variety of pieces, on Bhagawan and Lord Jesus; a Song Assemblage revealing how God is expressed in the different kinds of Hungarian Music consisiting of folklore, pop, rock and religions divisions, song on the miracle of creation, folklore song from Hungary, thanking for the coming of Jesus etc. The show conducted by the graceful and agile Barbara Markusu was a veritable treat to the big assemblage of devotees congregated in Sai Kulwant Hall. Immensely pleased with the devotional show, Bhagawan materialized a chain for the conductor while blessing the entire contingent with clothes.
The group that had extensive rehearsal sessions before arriving in India had been practicing rigorously throughout in the run up to the programme, with one aim to present a perfect show to the Master and making Him happy. Verily Hungarian hunger for spirituality and Divine Blessing was satiated on this beautiful evening in the immediate Divine Presence.
