In the evening, emerging at 1825 hrs. to the invoking bhajan, "Govinda, hey Gopala...Aao Aao Prabhu Aao Aao, Muche Aakar Darshan Dikhao", Bhagawan came for a full round of darshan to come onstage through the right of Ganesha at 1837 hrs. Sitting through the session presiding over the bhajans, Bhagawan called for Arathi at 1855 hrs. before moving off the stage at 1900 hrs. through the right of Ganesha to retire to Yajur Mandiram, not before asking to repeat "Samastha Lokaaha..." one more time.

In the evening, emerging at 1715 hrs. to the chants of Vedas, Bhagawan moved past the ladies' side to the gents side and instead of going for a complete round covering the Vedam block, Bhagawan took a detour from the ex-students' block, moving on to the portico, to proceed further towards the interview room at 1727 hrs. Interacting with many on His way, Bhagawan spent sometime outside the interview room talking to senior devotees before coming onstage at 1734 hrs. to preside over the bhajan session. Sitting through the bhajan session for the next half-an-hour, often seen immersed in, Bhagawan accepted Arathi at 1804 hrs. After Arathi, Bhagawan sat for some more time, this time glancing through a letter in His hand, before moving off the stage at 1812 hrs., heading towards Yajur Mandiram. Prasadam was distributed to the entire assemblage before the offering of Mangala Arathi.
The greater importance that Bhagawan is giving to Veda Chanting and chanting of Universal Prayer is to be specially noted and imbibed upon. As He was coming onstage through the slope on the gents' side, Bhagawan was seen chanting the Vedam as was going on in the mandir; and once again the Universal Prayer, "Samastha Lokaaha..." was heard repeating for a second time, after the regular chanting, at His special instance.
Mon, April 26, 2010: This morning, there was no Divine Darshan and Arathi was offered at 0940 hrs.
In the evening, Bhagawan, upon emerging at 1713 hrs., came for a full round of darshan. Coming onstage at 1734 hrs. through the right of Ganesha, Bhagawan sat through the next almost 45 minutes before moving off the stage after receiving Arathi, at 1821hrs. Moving into the interview room Bhagawan emerged at 1830 hrs. to retire to Yajur Mandiram.
During the bhajan session Bhagawan was seen going through the letters and at times He was engrossed, with His eyes remain closed. In between, Bhagawan 'threw' two vibhuti packets, in His inimitable style, to the bhajan boys, blessing two of the boys with Vibhuti and Padanamaskar. Laddu prasadam was distributed to the entire assemblage before Arathi was offered.
...and this time once again, the universal prayer, "Samastha Lokaaha...", was repeated for one extra time as commanded by Bhagawan.
Sun, April 25, 2010: This morning, there was no Divine Darshan and Arathi was offered at 0940 hrs.
In the evening, Bhagawan emerged at 1752 hrs. to go for a full round of darshan. Being sunday, there was a capacity audience that included a sizeable populace from Kerala who have come to celebrate belated Vishu, Kerala New Year, in His immediate Divine presence. Even as He moved past the ladies' end, Bhagawan chose to spend sometime in the middle, at the centre, where the drama crew was arrayed seeking Divine blessings. Bhagawan was seen interacting with some tiny tots commenting on their costumes.
Upon completing His round, asending the portico, Bhagawan moved towards the interview room to spend next ten minutes interacting with senior devotees. At 1817 hrs., Bhagawan came onstage and after blessing the State President and some other officials, Bhagawan blessed the drama for the evening, on the life of Sant Surdas, to commence. The fifty-five minute drama was on the dedicated life of Sant Surdas whose life was a melody of love for Lord Krishna. After the drama, Bhagawan moved down the aisle to bless the children with a coveted photo session. Bhagawan spent almost five minutes with the children interacting with some of them while showering His blessings with His close proximity to the entire crew. A materialised chain was presented to the cast of Bhagawan Sri Krishna. In the meantime, Prasadam was blessed by Bhagawan which was distributed to the entire assemblage.
At 1925 hrs., Bhagawan asked for bhajans to commence and as the Kerala troupe completed one bhajan Bhagawan called for Arathi. Upon accepting Arathi, Bhagawan whispered something into the State President's ears, conveying Divine satisfaction for the wonderful drama presentation. This was received with applause by the children and devotees in general. Blessing the entire concourse with His Abhayahastha, at 1935 hrs., Bhagawan moved off the dais proceeding to Yajur Mandiram.
The venue, Sai Kulwant Hall, bore an original festive look, with decorations consisting of, flower buntings, and that of tender coconut and palm leaves hanging everywhere, colourful parasols arrayed at the entrance and at the periphery of the hall, even though the occasion was a belated effort to celebrate the New Year that was celebrated by Malayalees all over the world on the 15th of April.
Sat, April 24, 2010: This morning, there was no Divine Darshan and Arathi was offered at 0940 hrs.
This evening, Bhagawan emerged at 1800 hrs. to come for a full round of darshan. Upon completing the round, interacting and blessing a group of doctors from SSSIHMS, Prasanthigram, Bhagawan came onstage at 1815 hrs. to the chants of Vedas. Deferred Tamil New Year celebration was scheduled for the evening and the 'stage' was set for a musical evening.. In next five minutes, Bhagawan blessed the "children artistes" for the evening before the commencement of the programme at 1820 hrs. Invoking Lord Ganesha with a Ganesha Stuthi these Balvikas children from Chrompet Samithi, Chennai produced a Carnatic evening in the Divine presence singing an array of songs with great dexterity and devotion. Half way into the programme Bhagawan called some of these children onstage, blessing them, encouraging their enthusiastic effort. This programme was followed by a short stint of bhajans by students before Arathi was offered at 1920 hrs. Upon accepting Arathi, Bhagawan again interacted with the children artistes before moving off the stage to retire to Yajur Mandiram at 1930 hrs. Vishu, Kerala New Year, celebrations are scheduled for tomorrow evening in the Divine presence.
Fri, April 23, 2010: This morning, Bhagawan, upon emerging at 0954 hrs., came for a full round of darshan. Upon completing the round, Bhagawan came onstage at 1005 hrs. to sit through the next half-an-hour presiding over bhajan session. Arathi was offered at 1030 hrs., after which Bhagawan retired to Yajur Mandiram.
In the evening, Bhagawan emerged at 1705 hrs. to come for a full round of darshan. Upon ascending the verandah, Bhagawan went straight into the interview room. Emerging again at 1750 hrs., Bhagawan glided past the upper portico to come onstage through the right of Ganesha at 1800 hrs. Bhagawan sat through the rest of the bhajan session that concluded with Mangala Arathi at 1815 hrs. Upon accepting Arathi, Bhagawan retired to Yajur Mandiram at 1820 hrs.
Deferred Tamil New Year celebrations will be held tomorrow in the Divine Presence which will be followed by Vishu, the Malayalam New Year, on the day after. Tamil New Year and Kerala New Year, two of the regular festivities in Prasanthi Festive Calendar were celebrated by the respective states on the 14th and 15th of April, while Bhagawan was away in Delhi-Shimla.
Thu, April 22, 2010: This morning, there was no Divine Darshan and Arathi was offered at 0940 hrs.
Later at around 1215 hrs., Bhagawan emerged to go for a drive outside towards the hospital. Taking a detour from the pertrol bunk, Bhagawan returned to Ashram at around 1240 hrs. via culvert gate, glancing and blessing the dormitory construction work-in-progress, at the rear west end of Prasanthi.
In the evening, Bhagawan emerged at 1725 hrs. for a full round of darshan. Upon completing His round, Bhagawan came onstage at 1741 hrs. through the right of Ganesha, to sit through the bhajan session that lasted at 1812 hrs. when Arathi was offered. Upon accepting Arathi, Bhagawan spent two more minutes onstage, talking to one of the lead singers, before retiring to Yajur Mandiram at 1820 hrs., not before blessing the concourse with His Abhayahasta, raising His twin palms three times.
Wed, April 21, 2010: This morning, Bhagawan arrived at 1020 hrs. to come for a full round of darshan. Coming onstage at 1035 hrs. through the right of Ganesha, blessing many on His way, Bhagawan sat for five minutes before accepting Arathi at 1040 hrs. Upon accepting Arathi, Bhagawan retired to Yajur Mandiram at 1045 hrs.
Mr. N. Chandrasekharan, CEO, Tata Consultancy Services and Mr. K. Jairaj, Additional Chief Secretary, Dept. of Energy, Govt. of Karnataka were at Prasanthi seeking Divine blessings of Bhagawan.
In the evening, emerging at 1648 hrs., Bhagawan, upon blessing the concourse with a full round of darshan, came onstage at 1705 hrs. through the right of Ganesha. Sitting through for next 10 minutes, Bhagawan moved off the dais at 1715 hrs. to move into the interview room. Emerging yet again at 1800 hrs., Bhagawan came onstage to call for Arathi in next five minutes. Upon accepting Arathi, Bhagawan retired to Yajur Mandiram at 1608 hrs., not before blessing the concourse with His double Abhayahastha, ladies and gents seperately.
Tue, April 20, 2010: This morning, there was no Divine Darshan and Arathi was offered at 0940 hrs.
This evening, upon emerging at 1718 hrs., Bhagawan went for a full round of darshan, to come onstage at 1730 hrs. through the right of Ganesha. Just into the second Bhajan, calling one of the students working with Prasanthi Digital Studio, Bhagawan materialised a golden chain with a Ganesha pendant for the student, blessing him profusely. Sitting through, presiding over the bhajan session for next half-an-hour, Bhagawan accepted arathi at 1802 hrs. before retiring to Yajur Mandiram. Prasadam was distributed to the entire assemblage.
Mon, April 19, 2010: On this first morning after His return from Delhi, Bhagawan emerged at 1015 hrs. to come for a full round of darshan. Upon completing the round, Bhagawan went further to make one more round, this time taking a detour from the ladies' end to come on to the verandah. Five minutes after moving into the interview room, Bhagawan emerged to come through the upper portico, to come onstage via the right of Ganesha. Sitting through the bhajan session till 1040 hrs., Bhagawan accepted Arathi before retiring to Yajur Mandiram at 1045 hrs.
In the evening, emerging at 1705 hrs., Bhagawan went for a complete round of darshan to come onstage at 1725, interacting and blessing many on His way. As Bhagawan continued to sit onstage listening to the chants of Vedas, that commenced at 1630 owing to a change in schedule, the chanting session continued till 1800 hrs. when Arathi was offered. Interestingly, there was a second round of "Samastha Lokaaha...." chanting at His special instance after the first round of chanting. Upon accepting Arathi, Bhagawan moved off the dais at 1805 proceeding towards Yajur Mandiram.
Owing to intense summer, there was a change in the evening schedule in Prasanthi Nilayam with effect from today. Veda chanting would commence at 1630 hrs. to continue for an hour and Bhajans would commence at 1730 hrs., until further announcement.
Sun, April 18, 2010: After nine days of Northern India Visit, to Delhi and Shimla, Bhagawan returned to Prasanthi to a devotional welcome. Bhagawan's plane touched down the tarmac at the Sri Sathya Sai Airport at 1539 hrs. and after a fifteen minute-ride, Bhagawan was received at the Sai Kulwant Hall with Poornakumbham and Veda chanting. Upon entering the hall, Bhagawan came for a half round through the gents' side to ascend the verandah, to stop for a while at the lower portico outside the interview room receiving Arathi. Upon Arathi, Bhagawan retired to Yajur Mandiram at 1625 hrs..
Later in the evening, Bhagawan emerged at 1725 hrs. to come for a half-round. Coming onstage, Bhagawan sat through till 1745 hrs. when Arathi was offered. Upon accepting Arathi Bhagawan retired to Yajur Mandiram.
Earlier, Bhagawan took off from Indira Gandhi International Airport at 1345 hrs. In the afternoon, Bhagawan left the Sri Sathya Sai International Centre at 1220 hrs. heading towards the Indira Gandhi International Airport. Bhagawan was accompanied by his entourage of boys and senior officials including Mr. Jatinder Cheema, State President of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Delhi.
In the morning, Bhagawan blessed the Sevadals who had been on duty throughout His stay in Delhi. Blessing them profusely, hearing State President's prayers to visit Delhi every year, Bhagawan replied in Hindi: Zaroor Aaoonga, meaning will definitely come. Before leaving, Bhagawan spent ten minutes amidst devotees blessing them profusely. Arathis were offered at Bhagawan's residence, then onstage and the final arathi just before departing, near the car. The Lord whose maganimity and love encompassed Delhi and its envirosn for seven full days has been given an emotional farewell at the Centre. As the wheels rolled over carrying The Mighty Lord, the "Farewell Song" was still heard, mellifluously rendering the air, and many souls were trying to cover up their emotion with those beauteous momentous moments filling the vacuum created with His departure.
Sat, April 17, 2010: At Anand Vilas, Bhagawan emerged at 0845 hrs. while bhajan was on. After one bhajan, Bhagawan accepted Arathi before proceeding to the Airport at 0850 hrs. After an eighty-minute drive, Bhagawan reached the Airport at 10:20 and His flight for Delhi took off at 1045 hrs. IST.

Airport at 12 noon and Bhagawan reached His Divine Abode, Sri Sathya Sai International Centre at 12:40 hrs.
Public Darshan is scheduled in the evening at 1730 hrs. IST.
As Bhagawan is set to return from the National Capital to the Spiritual Capital, this previous evening prior to His departure to Puttaparthi, Delhi earned the rare grace of having her "Divine Guest" moving through landmark locations in the city, blessing the city in general with His Divine Presence.
Reports from Delhi indicates that, Bhagawan emerged at around 6 and set out moving through the Delhi lanes, glancing and blessing the environs of the Capital City. Bhagawan passed by the Rashtrapathi Bhavan, The Parliament House, India Gate till Amar Jawan Jyothi (the flame of the immortal warrior) and many an embassy building including the American and Australian while moving through the road leading to Connaught Place, New Delhi. The more than half-an-hour "Divine Safari" was at a slow pace and no doubt, the fortunate ones would be at the right place at the right time receiving blessings that came most unaware.
In the meantime, bhajan was on at the International Centre and Bhagawan upon returning, spoke to His boys who had just returned from Shimla in a bus. After five minutes Bhagawan accepted Arathi before retiring for the day.
Director of The Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, one of Delhi's most important tourist destinations, was at the Centre seeking Divine Blessings, inviting Bhagawan to the Temple complex. Other eminent personalities visited the centre were veteran congress leader Ambika Soni and Sri Rituraj Maharaj who conducted Bhagavata Saptaaham in Prasanthi Nilayam recently.
Fri, April 16, 2010: As per the official website of Sri Sathya Sai Organisations - Delhi, at "Anand Vilas", bhajans will begin at 9 and after Divine Darshan Bhagwan is expected to sanctify two temples, of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Saraswathi in the "Anand Vilas" premises. The other programme scheduled for the morning session includes Divine visit to Sri Sathya Sai Hostel.
Evening Bhajans and Darshan will be followed by a cultural programme by Balvikas children from the state.
Last evenining, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and some top police officials from the state were at Anand Vilas seeking Divine Blessings.
This morning, Bhagawan came out at 11 while bhajan was on. Upon emerging granting Divine Darshan, Bhagawan went straight to sanctify the Ganesh Temple at the entrance. After sanctifying the temple, Bhagawan further proceeded to the hostel building adjacent to the school. At the hostel, Bhagawan was accorded a ceremonial welcome by the children with "welcome" song. Inaugurating the hostel building by pulling the ribbon string, Bhagawan sat for sometime listening to the children, who were singing, before returning to "Anand Vilas" to accept Arathi at 12 noon.
Earlier, recordings of bhajans and devotional songs had been on at "Anand Vilas" from 9 onwards until bhajans began at 10:40. Union Steel Minister, Veerabhadra Singh, who hails from the state, was at "Anand Vilas" seeking Divine Blessings.
As Pujarli's exquisite architectural marvel, Anand Vilas, the Divine Abode in Shimla is marvelling at her great good fortune, for a mortal, whose search for his immortal identity has taken him to this very picturesque location that has a widespread of panoramic canvas with guardian hills around, for this mortal seeker, the sight at Anand Vilas is verily the meeting of Prakruthi with Purusha, the seeker and that which is sought!
As the penultimate eveing (darshan session) before Bhagawan's departure to Delhi arrived, there was greater expectation and excitement in the air as the news of Bhagawan's departure was flashed and confirmed by then. Bhagawan was ushered in at 5 granting Divine Darshan. At 5:10, Bhagawan asked the Music Troupe of students accompanying Him to have their maiden music presentation during the trip. What followed was a half-an-hour scintillating musical shower that lasted at 5:45. The programme had two carnatic pieces written by Saint Thyagaraja, one Quawwali, followed by the popular devotional number, Mahapraana Deepam Shivam Shivam...This was followed by a short stint of bhajans by the same troupe.
After 3-4 bhajans, Bhagawan moved into the newly constructed Auditorium wherein children from Sri Sathya Sai School, Shimla and Balvikas Children of Himachal Pradesh had a combined cultural programme. The programme that started at 6:15 continued upto 7:30. The presentation, a drama on Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar was followede by an array of dances depicting culture and tradition of the state.
The second programme, "Sai Sanrachna" was a depiction of glimpses of rich cultural and Divine heritage of Himachal Pradesh in the form of music and dance. The programme that commenced with a Ganesh Stuthi, invoking Lord Ganesha had nine songs depicting various cutural traditions of the state. The second piece to follow was a Shiva Stuthi followed by Duru Dance. The forth depiction was on Fairs and Festivals of Himachal Pradesh, conisting of Nagada, Turi, Narashinga etc. What followed next was a Shakti Dance, depicting various mudras of five main Shakti Peetas of Himachal Pradesh believed to have orginated from Maa Sati. This was followed by Kinnuri Dance of tribals of Kinnore, celebrating Bhagawan's arrival at Anand Vilas, describing the beauty and splendour of Sanga Valley of Konnore. Lahaulspipi is supposedly a cold district of Himachal Pradesh and the next dance was a tribal dance from Lahaulspipi invoking Divine Grace of Bhagawan. Jamakra folk dance of Kangra district followed before winding up with the familiar gratitude song, Yentha Hai...Yentha Hai..thanking Bhagawan for His greater benediction. .Bhagawan was extremely pleased with the presentation and with the chidren who excelled in appeasing the Lord. In between the programme, Bhagawan was seen asking the photographer, indicating at the beautiful smiling children, to take proper snaps.
The Union Steel Minister, Mr. Veerabhadra Singh, who was at the Divine Abode for morning darshan continued to stay for evening darshan as well. Another noted personality who was present during the evening was AP Minister for FDC, Information Public Relations and Trourism, Dr. (Mrs.) J.Geeta Reddy.
Bhagawan will be taking off to Delhi tomorrow forenoon to reach Sri Sathya Sai International Centre at 12 noon. Bhagawan is expected to take off to Puttaparthi on sunday afternoon. An official communication from saidelhi.org indicates that Bhagawan will be arriving at the Sri Sathya Sai International Centre at 12 noon tomorrow and there will be evening public darshan at the Centre at 1700 hrs. IST. On Sunday, Bhagawan is expected to grant darshan at 0930 hrs. IST followed by special darshan for Sevadals at 1300 hrs before His scheduled departure at 1330 hrs. IST from Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Thu, April 15, 2010: In the morning, at the Sri Sathya Sai International Centre, Bhagawan came out at 9:15 granting darshan for five minutes before accepting Arathi. Upon accepting Arathi, Bhagawan left for Indira Gandhi International Airport. Bhagawan would be taking off for Shimla after 10 to reach Shimla Airport by 11. From the Shimla Airport Bhagawan would be motored to His Divine Abode, Anand Vilas, situated 35 kms apart.
Shimla finally had her hunger satiated! After 35 long years of waiting, when Bhagawan's plane landed at the Shimla Airport just after 11:30, it was a dream come true for many and for the hill station, it was her destined and defined moment, for the sanctifying touch of her Beloved Lord. Entire stretch of thirty five kilometers, from the Shimla Airport to the newly built "Anand Vilas", the Divine Abode in Shimla, thousands upon thousands on the road satiating their lives' desire, stealing a glance of the Lord. There was a riot of colours all along, with flowers and buntings welcoming the Lord all over, with rangoli adorning the floor at every every important locations and thousands upon thousands vying for a glance, lined up all along the way. There were devotees showering flowers, dusting the ground that touched the "Feet of The Lord", falling at Him in saashtanga posture, many with moist eyes, but all with their hearts full of Love with beaming faces of having satiated their hunger to have Him in their midst, yet again. It appeared as if entire Shimla township came to standstill celebrating His" Advent"!
The original convoy of around 15 to 20 vehicles multiplied in to huge proportions, crossing the hundred mark and Bhagawan motored the entire stretch of 35 kms in over 80 minutes, blessing the thousands on His way, to reach "Anand Vilas" at 12:50. Ceremonial religious welcome awaited the Lord at His new Abode as a huge congregations was awaiting His arrival at "Anand Vilas". Upon arriving, Bhagawan sanctified the latest of His Abodes, by setting His Feet in. Thereafter, Bhagawan moved onto the balcony at the first floor granting Darshan to the devotees assembled inside. It was a moment of great satisifaction and joy for the devotees of the state, a moment to cherish and a dream come true and for The Lord, it was His Sankalpa that came True!
Earlier, at the Shimla Airport, Bhagawan was welcomed by the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Ms. Urmila Singh along with scores of other dignitaries. A mention should be made of the active participation of the Alumni of Sri Sathya Sai University, contributing their might, making Bhagawan's long pending visit a most memorable one.
On the first evening at the new Divine Abode, Bhagawan emerged for darshan at quarter to six while bhajan was on. As bhajans continued, Bhagawan sat through for almost an hour, blessing the vast assemblage of devotees before accepting Arathi. Upon accepting Arathi, Bhagawan retired for the day.

in Shimla, at Anand Vilas, what one would witness and appreciate is the highest reverence and devotion of the devotees over there that was on exhibition ever since Bhagawan arrived at the Divine Abode. When The Lord emerged in the evening, granting darshan, one could see thousands of hands going up, in pure devotional ecstasy, greeting The Lord. ...And as the assemblage glued 'their' eyes on the beauteous form of the Lord, it was nothing, but bliss of being in the immediate presence of the Lord that was reflecting on each and every face. The huge darshan ground outside Anand Vilas could easily accomodate thousands, almost the capacity that the Sai Kulwant Hall of Prasanthi would hold.
In the twilight, this exquisite architectural marvel situated at Pujarali in Shimla district was shining in splendour as a beacon of Love and Peace. The building that was constructed in the most hostile and harsh climatic conditions prevailing in the cold arid zone in the high altitude mountain ecosystem was executed by Sai Engineering Foundation, a voluntary organisation working for the welfare of humanity without the distinction of caste, colour, creed, region and religion. The construction work was ably supervised by Sri Raj Kumar Verma, a long-time devotee and CEO of the Sai Engineering Foundation, as an offering at His Divine Lotus Feet. Devotees from various parts of the state would come in batches, on every sunday, to contribute their might in the construction work as their loving offering to Bhagawan.
Greeting and housing The Lord, Pujarali in Shimla is presenting pleasant weather, a marked change for everyone, especially at a time when Puttaparthi and Delhi are under severe summer onslaught.
Today is Vishu, the Kerala New Year, a day when devotees from the state would celebrate in the immediate Divine Presence of the Lord for past many years.
Wed, April 14, 2010: This is the 'final' morning before Bhagawan embarking on the second phase of His North Indian visit, His sojourn to Shimla. Bhagawan is expected to fly to the hill station, which was India's erstwhile summer capital during the British regime, tomorrow morning. A new Divine Abode, "Anand Vilas" will be sanctified by His Divine presence and Bhagawan is expected to grant Divine Darshan at Anand Vilas.
This morning, at the Sri Sathya Sai International Centre, Bhagawan was ushered in at 10:18 and as bhajans went on Bhagawan sat onstage till 10:30 when Arathi was offered. Upon accepting Arathi, Bhagawan along with His entourage went to the Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Higher Secondary School of Girls situated at Kalkajee Extn. Area in South Delhi. The Children had put up an interesting cultural programme, "Sathya Sai Katha", illustrating various incidents from the lillustrious life of "Little Sathya". Some of the incidents were that of the episode related to Hanuman and Rishyendramani. The programme presented in the form of a dance drama had some songs towards the end. It was a heart-touching entertainer for one and all and Bhagawan was seen 'absorbed' in the presentation. After the programme that lasted beyond 12 noon, Bhagawan and His entourage had lunch at the School afterwhich, Bhagawan proceeded to Col. Berry's house.
Today is the Tamil New Year Day. Tamil New Year coupled with Malayalam New Year (Vishu) used to be celebration time for devotees from Tamil Nadu and Kerala in the Divine presence over the past many years, be it in Prasanthi Nilayam, Brindavan or in Kodaikanal. This is perhaps for the first time in many years that these twin new years are not celebrated in the immediate physical presence of Bhagawan.
In the evening it was beyond 7, precisely at 7:25, when Bhagawan came out granting the penultimate Darshan before leaving for Shimla tomorrow morning. As bhajans went on, Bhagawan moved down the ramp going amidst the devotees through the pathway, accepting letters from almost every stretched hand. He even chose to halt for a while at the mini-podium among the devotees granting coveted view of His Divine Form. After spending around fifteen minutes, Bhagawan accepted arathi before retiring for the day.
While it was veteran BJP leader and former Dy. Prime Minister LK Advani who made it to the International Centre seeking Bhagawan's blessings in the morning, in the evening, rest of his family members were at the Centre interacting and receiving Divine benediction. Another prominent figure present in the evening was Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Pradeep Vasant Naik.
Bhagawan is expected to leave Delhi for Shimla by air tomorrow morning. He is expected to land at Shimla Airport at 10:30 and would be motored to the destination, 35 kms apart, to reach Anand Vilas.
...And in Parthi, it was raining late in the evening, with intermittent accompaniment of lightning and thunder, as if she is rejoicing at His imminent return.
Tue, April 13, 2010: Today is Baisakhi! For people in North India, especially the Sikhs, Baisakhi is a mega event; it is a religious festival, harvest festival and New Year's Day, all rolled into one. And when Bhagawan Himself is in their midst in physical, in North India, the occasion becomes a real celebrations for the folks devoted to Bhagawan.
As Bhagawan’s Delhi sojourn turns to Day 5, on Tuesday morning, Bhagawan was ushered in at 11:40 to come onstage presiding over the bhajans at the Sri Sathya Sai International Centre. Being the Baisakhi day, prasadam was distributed along with Vibhuti, a practice followed in Delhi, and the “Prasadam” was sanctified and blessed by Bhagawan. Clothes were also distributed to the public marking auspiciousness of the occasion. Blessing the assemblage of devotees, Bhagawan moved down the ramp proceeding further through the aisle; after finishing half-way into the aisle, Bhagawan returned to the dais.
He knows the deserved one, He knows the right timing and He knows how to act…. As bhajans went on, Bhagawan, while onstage, spotted a mentally challenged child and asked the sevadal to go and give vibhuti prasadam to the child. Completely conquered by the Power of Divine Love exhibited by Bhagawan, the child’s mother was in tears as her joy knew no bounds. None would know what prayer the child or the mother would have sent forth to the Divine making them eligible for His Divine intervention that was so soothing and comforting, not alone to the suffering soul, but to the audience who were fortunate to witness the Divine benevolence.
Bhajans continued till 12:30 when Arathi was offered. Upon accepting Arathi, Bhagawan proceeded to Rajeev Mahajan’s (a senior devotee from Delhi) residence for lunch. He was later accompanied by His entourage of students.
Prominent personalities visited Bhagawan on this day at the Centre included Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Mr. Praful Patel, Governor of Punjab and Administrator for Union Territory of Chandigarh, Mr. Shivraj Patil, Hon’ble Justice (Retd.) MM Punchhi, Formerly Chief Justice of India, Hon'ble Minister for FDC, Information Public Relations and Trourism, Andhra Pradesh, Dr. (Mrs.) J.Geeta Reddy and popular playback singer from Bollywood, Suresh Wadkar and some Members of Indian Parliament etc.
In the evening Bhagawan is expected to grant Divine Darshan at the Dwarka grounds.
In the evening, as bhajans went on, Bhagawan was ushered in at 6:15 to proceed to Dwarka Grounds immediately. Bhagawan and His entourage reached the grounds just after 7. A music programme by popular Pubjabi Folk and Sufi Singer Hansraj Hans was scheduled on this Baisakhi evening. Enthralling the Divine, singing sufi devotionals, at times in Bhagawan's "own" name, the talented singer mesmerised the capacity audience for the next half an hour raining mellifluous music. Bhagawan was seen giving beats, enjoying the session, often immersed in the melody of devotion. Upon the programme and Arathi at around 8, Bhagawan and His entourage proceeded to Mr.Jitender Cheema's house for dinner. Mr. Jitender Cheema is the President of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Delhi. Upon blessing the dinner session with His presence, then blessing the family, Bhagawan and His entourage returned to the SSSIC at around 10.
Mon, April 12, 2010: This morning, on the 4th morning of His Divine sojourn to Delhi, Bhagawan arrived at 10:25 while bhajan was on and sat through till 10:55 when Arathi was offered. Upon accepting Arathi, Bhagawan and His entourage left for Bahá'í Temple, popularly known as Lotus Temple, owing to its stunning Lotus features. Bhagawan is expected to grant Divine Darshan at this monumental temple, which is a tourist attraction in Delhi. The temple is situated 12km southeast of Connaught Place, New Delhi. In the evening, Bhagawan is expected to give Darshan at DC-10 DDA Grounds (Near Dwarka Sector-10 Metro Station), Dwarka.
Reports from Delhi indicates that Bhagawan reached the Bahá'í Temple at around 11:30. Unique feature of this Bahá'í Temple is that like any other Bahá'í Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all barring any religious or other distinction, as emphasized in Bahá'í texts. Bahá'ís believe the crucial need facing humanity is to find a unifying vision of the nature and purpose of life and of the future of society. It is a gathering place where people of all religions may worship God without denominational restrictions.The Bahá'í laws also stipulate that the holy scriptures of the Bahá'í Faith and other religions can be read or chanted inside in any language. Following these traditions, teachings from holy Bible, Holy Quran and Holy Gita were read out in the Divine Presence that was followed by a ten minute worship of Bhagawan by people from Bahá'í faith. The function was attended by a capacity group of around 300 people and lasted almost for an hour.
From the Bahá'í Temple Bhagawan and His entourage moved to Justice PN Bhagwathi's residence. Hon. Justice P. N. Bhagwathi is an eminent jurist of International repute and was formerly the Chief Justice of India. Justice Bhagwathi has been a long time devotee of Bhagawan and is a member, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Prasanthi Nilayam. Blessing the veteran and his family members, after having lunch at the jurist's house, Bhagawan retired to the Sri Sathya Sai International Centre at around 2:30. Bhagawan is expected to grant Divine Darshan at the International Centre in the evening before proceeding to the Dwarka grounds for the scheduled Darshan session.
Earlier in the morning, Mr. Sushil Kumar Shinde, Minister for Power in the Central Cabinet was at the International Centre seeking Divine Darshan. Mr. Shinde has been a longtime devotee of Bhagawan and had visited Prasanthi Nilayam several times.
In the evening, the scheduled darshan at Dwarka ground was cancelled and at the Sri Sathya Sai International Centre, Bhagawan emerged at around 6:20 while bhajan was on. Upon emerging, at Bhagawan's instance, the music troupe of boys that escorted Bhagawan took over the singing, producing scintillating aalaap bhajans. The session extended till 7:15 when Arathi was offered.
In a touching gesture suffused with Divine Love, Bhagawan, upon accepting Arathi, travelled to Krishna Menon Marg, New Delhi, to the residence of former Prime Minister of India, Sri Atal Behari Vajpayee. The former Prime Minister was scheduled to visit Bhagawan at the International Centre couple of days before, seeking His blessings, but could not make it owing to ill health. Eleven years ago, when Bhagawan visited the captial city last time, Mr. Vajpayee was the Prime Minister and the SSSIC was inaugurated by the Divine hands in his presence. Vajpayee has been a longtime devotee of Bhagawan and had visited Prasanthi Nilayam several times. After blessing the veteran leader, Bhagawan returned to the International Centre at around 8:30.
Back in Parthi, it drizzled yet again! Giving respite from the scorching summer, rain god drizzled cooling showers on Monday late evening in Puttaparthi. Fifth day in succession without her "Soul", though Parthi wears a "missing aura", the spiritual township does not appear to be barren as it used to be during olden days when Bhagawan would move to Brindavan for longer stay, for 2-3 months. In Parthi, it is expectation and anticipation of the good news, the news of His return.
Sun, Apr11, 2010: On this 'Summer' Sunday morning, on the 3rd day of His Delhi sojourn, Bhagawan was ushered in at 10:50 while bhajan was on. Upon coming onstage, Bhagawan sat for sometime blessing the concourse with His Darshan, before moving down the ramp proceeding to the aisle blessing the devotees with closer darshan. Moving half way through the aisle Bhagawan returned onstage to sit through till 11:25 when Arathi was offered.
Later during the day, in the evening, Bhagawan is expected to grant Divine Darshan at Sri Sathya Sai International Centre at around 5 before proceeding to a private function to be held at Mavalankar Auditorium, behind Parliament House of India, twenty minute drive from Sri Sathya Sai International Centre. Former Vice Chancellor of Sri Sathya Sai University and eminent scientist, Padmasree Prof. G.Venkataraman, Bharti Group Chairman, Sunil Bharti Mittal etc. are scheduled to address the selected audience. This would be followed by a cultural presentation, drama, by alumni of Sri Sathya Sai University, Prasanthi Nilayam.
Information received from Delhi indicates that, in the evening, Bhagawan came out at 4:20 to come onstage while Vedam was on. Even as Vedam gave way to bhajans, Bhagawan continued to preside over the session till 4:40. Upon accepting Arathi, at 4:45, Bhagawan left for Mavalankar Audiotorium, the venue for the evening function.
Bhagawan and His entourage reached at the Mavlankar Auditorium at about 5. There were three speakers for the session. Sunil Bharti Mittal, a leading industrialist and the head honcho of Bharti Group that owns India's largest cellular company, Airtel, who addressed the august audience first, spoke about Bhagawan and the greater good fortune of being a part of His Mission. He mentioned about His marriage into a family devoted to Bhagawan for decades and His first darshan of Bhagawan in the seventies. What attracted him most about Bhagawan was Bhagawan's secular approach where religion does not play any role. He mentioned about the presence of two prominent muslims in Prasanthi during the twin visits he had made to His Divine Abode in Andhra Pradesh. While it was Dr. Farooq Abdullah, a devout muslim and former Chief Minister of J & K, was the first one, second one was the then Minister of Education of UAE, Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan. Prof. G Venkataraman who spoke next dwelled upon in detail on the Chennai Water Project. His speech was aided with video and slide show presentations. He spoke about the beginning of the project, as to how dramatically Bhagawan announced the project and how the project went ahead despite challenges from various fronts, by sheer grace of Bhagawan. Sri SV Giri, the third speaker spoke in detail on the subject, Bhagawan and His Mission.
These three illuminating speeches were followed by a cultural presentation, drama on Bhagavad Gita, by Delhi Youth with the active participation of alumni of Sri Sathya Sai University. Upon the programme, that lasted for approximately two hours, Bhagawan along with His entourage moved to the residence of Kulwant Rai at Aurangazeb Lane where the entourage was treated with sumptuous dinner. Presiding over the Bhajans, blessing the family members, Bhagawan along with His entourage returned to the Sri Sathya Sai International Centre at Lodhi Road bringing curtains down for the third day of Bhagawan's Delhi sojourn. Bhagawan also blessed a huge congregation of devotees who were vying for His darshan outside the Rai residence.
In the morning, Yeshwanth Sinha, formerly Finance Minister, Govt. of India, was at the International Centre seeking Divine Blessings.
Sat, Apr10, 2010: This morning, Bhagawan came out at around quarter to eleven granting ten minutes darshan at the main stage in the Sri Sathya Sai International Centre, Delhi. Blessing the concourse, Bhagawan moved on to the stage of the Primary School within the compound wherein tiny tots from various slums had a twenty minute cultural programme emphasising the greater importance of Unity of Religions. Upon the end of the programme, Bhagawan moved around the complex, sanctifying and blessing various facilities including the computer lab. library etc. Many devotees and sevadals got to have the blessing of closer darshan and paadanamaskaars. Sunil Bharti Mittal, an Indian Telecom Mogul, Chairman and Managing Director of Bharti Group was also present seeking Divine Darshan.
Bhagawan is expected to give a fifteen minute darshan at the Centre in the evening before moving on to the public Darshan venue at DC-10 DDA Grounds (Near Dwarka Sector-10 Metro Station) Dwarka where a forty-minute Cultural Programme is scheduled.
Reports received from Delhi indicates that, in the evening, Bhagawan granted Divine Darshan at the Sri Sathya Sai International Centre at around 5 past 5. As Bhajans continued, Bhagawan sat onstage for 10-15 minutes before Arathi was offered. Upon accepting Arathi, at 5:30, Bhagawan moved to the public Darshan venue at DC-10 DDA Grounds (Near Dwarka Sector-10 Metro Station) Dwarka. Bal Vikas children from Delhi had a drama presentation in front of a capacity audience of around 50000 and most importantly in the Divine presence of Bhagawan. After blessing the children with a photo session Bhagawan left the venue at 7:30 returning to His Divine Abode, Sri Sathya Sai International Centre at Lodhi Road.
Earlier in the morning, veteran VHP leader Ashok Singhal was at the International Centre seeking Divine Darshan. Sri Ashok Singhal has been a longtime devotee of Bhagawan who frequents to Prasanthi Nilayam regularly.
Fri, Apr 09, 2010: This morning, there was no Divine Darshan and Arathi was offered at 9:40.
In the afternoon, Bhagawan arrived in His car at 1:43 on His way to the Airport for the scheduled departure for Delhi at 2:15. Stopping for a while at the centre near the lion at the ladies' side, Bhagawan blessed the assemblage, while coconuts were broken and Arathi was offered, a regular sight during Divine departure over the years. Upon accepting Arathi and blessing the concourse, Bhagawan drove past the hall at 1:45. Blessing scattered groups of devotees awaiting enroute intending to steal a glance of the Lord braving scorching sun, Bhagawan arrived at the Sri Sathya Sai Airport at 2:07, driving directly towards the flight. Boarding the plane at 2:11, the specially chartered Kingfisher VT KFG airliner took off at 2:32 after a five minute runway run, for a two hour airborne sojourn carrying the Lord to the national capital, Delhi.
Bhagawan’s Divine Chariot touched down the tarmac at the Indira Gandhi International Airport at approximately 1645 hrs. IST. There was a smile on everyone’s face and a feeling – it is true Bhagawan has arrived in Delhi…
After an hour-long drive by road, as His car turned into the street where the International Centre is situated, at around 1745 hrs. IST, the drums beat out loud to welcome Him. Bhagawan’s car was led upto the entrance of the Centre by the boys of the band dressed in white and blue, followed by the group of Veda chanting boys dressed in orange. This Vedam group in their splendorous orange attire appeared like marigolds being offered at the Divine Lotus Feet. There were so many Balvikas children that received Him too. All arrangements had been well synchronized, those on wheelchairs had been placed just by the entrance to the lane were they could with great ease have a glimpse of their Lord… Soon Bhagawan granted Darshan to all as ‘Swagatam” rang out in the air. Interestingly, Sri Sathya Sai International Centre and the Shirdi Baba temple, both at Lodhi Road, are opposite to each other.
The Divine darshan charmed everyone and ended for the day with Aarati offered to Bhagawan. There was hope for more such Divine interludes in the next few days as the national capital is basking in the Divine Presence!!!

On this penultimate Darshan session before embarking on a weeklong visit to the national capital, Delhi, this evening, Bhagawan emerged at 5 to come for a full round of Darshan. Upon completing the round in 15 mts., Bhagawan moved through the lower portico to come onstage through the right of Ganesha, at 5:20. Presiding over the bhajan session till 5:45, upon accepting Arathi, Bhagawan asked His student entourage for the trip to assemble and present before Him. After a brief interaction-cum-instruction session with some of the members in the group, Bhagawan moved off the dais at 5:55 proceeding to His Divine Abode, Yajur Mandiram, not before raising His Divine Palm thrice, to students, to gents and to ladies separately.

This evening, emerging at 5 minutes after 5, Bhagawan went for a slow round granting Darshan, blessing many while gliding past. Coming on to the verandah in 15 minutes, Bhagawan moved through the lower portico to come onstage at 5:23, through the right of Ganesha. Presiding over the bhajan session for the next 12 minutes, Bhagawan moved off the dais at 5:35 into the interview room. Emerging from the interview room at 5:49, Bhagawan moved into the the bhajan hall for a flash before returning to come onstage at 5:53. Arathi was offered at 5:56 and Bhagawan moved off the dais just after 6, retiring to Yajur Mandiram, not before raising His Abhayahastha, thrice, blessing the students, gents and ladies seperately.

This evening, arriving at 5:35, Bhagawan went for a full round of Darshan before coming on to the verandah in 10 minutes. Proceeding further, blessing a research scholar on his work, Bhagawan came onstage at 5:50. Sitting for a while presiding over the bhajans, Bhagawan accepted Arathi at 5:55. Upon Arathi, Bhagawan sat through for some time, watching prasadam being distributed before moving off the stage at 6:06 not before blessing the concourse with a double Abhayahasta. Interacting and blessing some devotees, Bhagawan retired to Yajur Mandiram at 6:11.
Mon, Apr 05, 2010: This morning, there was no Divine Darshan and Arathi was offered at 9:40.
This evening, Bhagawan came out at 5:17 while bhajan was on. Blessing the assemblage with a full round of Darshan, Bhagawan came onstage at 5:34 through the right of Ganesha, blessing many on His way. As bhajans continued, Bhagawan sat through till 6:12 when Arathi was offered. Upon Arathi there was amusement around, when Bhagawan raised His double abhayahasta thrice blessing the concourse amidst rounds of applause. Responding to the claps for the first abhayahasta, Bhagawan granted a second one which was received with greater merriment and Bhagawan, reciprocating to the jubilant mood, raised His Divine Palm for the third time in a row, again for a round of applause. Moving off the stage at 6:17 Bhagawan had a brief interaction with some of the faculties from Sri Sathya Sai Mirpuri College of Music before proceeding to Yajur Mandiram at 6:20. Upon retiring, Bhagawan blessed the outgoing batch of security personnel (andhra police), outside Yajur Mandiram.
Sun, Apr 04, 2010: This morning, emerging at 10:35, Bhagawan went for a full round of Darshan and before ascending the verandah He moved bit further into the ladies' side to return to the verandah, further proceeding to come onstage at 10:49, via University block at the right of Ganesha. As bhajans continued, Bhagawan sat through till 10:55 when Arathi was offered. Blessing the congregation with a double abhayahastha, moving off the dais, Bhagawan had a brief interaction with a group of Alumni seated drawing Divine attention, before moving into the interview room. Emerging at 11:14, after a three minute interaction with some senior devotees, Bhagawan retired to Yajur Mandiram at 11:17.
In the evening, Bhagawan emerged at 4:18, to come for a full round of Darshan. Coming onstage at 4:34, through the right of Ganesha, Bhagawan sent word for the group from Sathya Sai Samithi, Super Speciality Hospital, Whitefield, Bangalore, seated inside the bhajan hall, to occupy the space next to 3rd block outside. Bhajans began fifteen minutes in advance, at 4:45, and continued till 5:30 when Arathi was offered. Upon Arathi, Bhagawan retired to Yajur Mandiram at 5:35. Prasadam was distributed to the entire sunday assemblage.
Sat, Apr 03, 2010: Arathi was offered at 9:40 as there was no Divine Darshan this morning.
This evening, Bhagawan emerged at 5:43 while bhajan was on. Completing a full round of Darshan Bhagawan came onstage at 6:02, through the right of Ganesha, blessing many on His way. As bhajans continued, Bhagawan sat through till 6:25 before He moved into the interview room. Emerging at 6:43 Bhagawan called for Arathi at 6:45 before moving off the stage through the right of Ganesha, glancing and blessing many, before proceeding to Yajur Mandiram at 6:55. Prasadam was distributed to students who are staying back despite summer vacation.
Fri, Apr 02, 2010: There was no Divine Darshan this morning and Arathi was offered at 9:40.
This evening, Bhagawan was ushered into the hall at 4:15 to the chants of Vedas; coming for a full round of Darshan that took 15 minutes, Bhagawan proceeded into the interview room to spend next 45 minutes in. Emerging at 5:13, Bhagawan glided past the upper verandah to come onstage at 5:17 via University Block at the right of Ganesha. Bhagawan sat through the next half-an-hour presiding over the bhajans before Arathi was called for at 5:50. In between an aalaap bhajan "Sri Raghavam...." was rendered at His special instance. Upon accepting Arathi, at 5:55, Bhagawan proceeded towards His Divine Abode, Yajur Mandiram.

In the evening, Bhagawan arrived at 4:22 for a full round of Darshan. Ascending the veradah in 13 minutes, Bhagawan went into the bhajan hall wherein some boys from the Brindavan Campus, in costumes, were seated seeking blessings for the Gratitude Programme. Emerging at 4:42, Bhagawan moved onstage, through the right of Ganesha, interacting and blessing many on His way.
Undergraduate students from the Brindavan Campus presented their Gratitude Programme that commenced at 4:45. The programme that lasted for more than an hour was a hearfelt offering, narrating and depicting many an event that touched their hearts and thus shaped their lives. A small skit was enacted towards the end, wherein the Maharabharata scene of Arjuna preferring Lord Krishna while Duryodhana was more than happy to settle for the 'mighty' army, before the Kurukshetra Battle, was depicted. Bhagawan materialised a chain for the cast of Arjuna, while blessing all the three casts with interactions and photo sessions.
Arathi was offered at 5:50 and Bhagawan, after some more interactions on His way, proceeded towards Yajur Mandiram just after six. There was a second round of Universal Prayer, "Samastha Lokaaha...", chanted at Bhagawan's special instruction.
