Jai Jai Ram Krishna Hari was heard again in Sai Kulwant Hall as thousands of devotees from Maharashtra and Goa are celebrating Ashadi Ekadashi in the immediate Divine Presence of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, today. Bhagawan arrived in the fully packed Sai Kulwant Hall at 9:00 a.m. to the accompaniment of Vedic Chants by the students of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. He went round the entire Sai Kulwant Hall granting darshan to thousands gathered before taking His seat on the specially decorated podium to receive traditional welcome by the office bearers of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Maharashtra & Goa. This was followed by an Invocatory Welcome Song by the Maharashtra Choir and arrival of ‘Varkaris’ dancing in ecstasy (symbolically signifying the ‘Dindi Yatra’ that happens every year during this period in Maharashtra) surcharging the atmosphere with divine vibrations. This was reminiscent of those days when two of the greatest saints of Maharashtra, Sant Jnaneshwar and Sant Tukaram set out for Pandarpur with their hearts resonating with …Jai Jai Ram Krishna Hari and mind fully engrossed in spiritual ecstasy.

The next was a musical presentation entitled GOD – THE ONLY FRIEND. Man today lives in a delusion that he is the doer which is incorrect. The reality that the doer is some one else…some one more powerful…more effulgent…more grand… and this can be understood only by a true devotee of God. He is man’s true friend…and He is God. The faster man realizes this, the swifter will be the journey to the Divine Lotus Feet. This was the central theme of the musical presentation entitled GOD – THE ONLY FRIEND presented by Bal Vikas Children and Youth Wing of Maharashtra.
